For a Successful Meeting with the Aikido China-Team Delegation for World Combat Games 2025 in Chengdu, China

On Friday, the 24th of May, a highly anticipated coordination meeting took place at the prestigious Hombu Dojo. Organized by the International Aikido Federation (IAF), this gathering brought together representatives from various Aikido Dojos and organizations across China. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the possibility of forming a unified team to represent China in the upcoming World Combat Games 2025, scheduled to be held in Chengdu, China.


The meeting commenced in Japan, at the revered Hombu Dojo, providing the perfect backdrop for such significant discussions. Attendees engaged in detailed conversations, outlining a comprehensive roadmap leading up to the grand event in 2025. The primary focus was on strategizing how practitioners from different Aikido backgrounds in China could come together as a cohesive unit to showcase our skills on a global platform.


One of the key milestones discussed during the meeting was the participation of the combined team from China in the IAF segment of the 61st All Japan Aikido Embukai. This participation was seen as a crucial stepping stone towards building camaraderie and unity among the practitioners from China, ultimately preparing them for the World Combat Games 2025.
