Our mission is to promote
the martial art of Aikido in Hong Kong

We are a registered dojo by the Aikikai, Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. We are dedicated to promoting the combat skills of Aikido as well as its philosophy and traditions.

Our courses are to provide people from different age groups and different backgrounds a platform to practice Aikido. Not only to improve their Aikido technique, but also to build their self-discipline, forbearance, and proper dojo manners, and to develop friendships beyond age, sex and boundary.

Our courses are two-hour sessions. The training is in a non-grading setting. Participants can practice together. Every class starts from basic movement to the complex combinations exercise, Dojo Etiquette, Footwork, Joint-locks, Falling and Throwing Techniques etc. During the courses, you can experience Aikido as a kind of non-violent and non-competitive martial art via its “Way of the Spirit of Harmony” through its natural flow of movement. Participants of Aikido do not take the initiative to attack, and will not develop a competitive character.

Our Course Details:

The purpose of Aikido training is not only to cope with the reality of the conflict but also to understand the principles of Martial Arts. Aikido practitioners will not be able to achieve competitive excellence by merely practising alone. Males and females of all ages, through their practice of Aikido in the dojo, not only improve their competitive skills but also enhance communication skills, develop friendships and build stronger teams.
